This is my recount of when we first let rosie out of her cage Yesterday after assembly room one was learning to take care of the class pet bird Rosie First Thomas took the newspaper covered in poo out of Rosie’s cage. Once Thomas had got rid of the poo covered newspaper we went outside next to the hall to use a hose to spray away the rest of the poo and seed left in her cage. While we were doing that we gave Rosie a shower with the hose we were also taught how to give Rosie her seed and water and to blow away the little shells in her seed. Some people were eating the seed and blowing it around. I tasted some seed. It wasn’t the best thing I ever ate. It tasted really strange. After we had given Rosie her food we went inside to let her out of her cage. After we had all sat down Mr McBride opened her cage. But she needed some ENCOURAGING to get out. After she was let out she went ballistic, speeding around the room, Doing laps until she swooped down and landed on Jack’s head, his face went bright red. Cameron got scared and went outside and he was watching through the little window. Then Rosie got off Jack’s head and started flying around the room landing on people’s heads and fingers. When she landed on guy she started biting his hair. Mr McBride said she found little bugs in his hair. It took a while for everyone to get it. Once Rosie had flown around a bit more Mr McBride put her back in her cage. In the end it was a good day. So we cleaned the cage, gave Rosie food, ate her seed and let her fly around. So we cleaned the cage, gave Rosie food, ate her seed and let her fly around. J
